Dr Purdy grew up in Syracuse and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She went to SUNY Delhi earning her associates degree in veterinary technology and is a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from Le Moyne College with a bachelor's degree in biology. While at LeMoyne, Dr. Purdy worked with lab mice for an NIH study. She attended Ross University and then Cornell for her clinical year. She has a special interest in surgery. In her spare time she likes to hike, sew and workout. She lives with her boyfriend and her two fur children Coal, a black lab and Bean, a tabby cat!
