Rachael M. Fahey

Dr. Fahey joined the LVAH team in May 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Le Moyne College and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Tufts University in 2014. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Cornell University, where she honed special skills in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency while teaching students. Born and raised in Central New York, Dr. Fahey returned to the area to be close to family. She was drawn to Liverpool Village Animal Hospital because of the high standard of care that accompanies an AAHA-accredited practice, as well as access to advanced technologies in veterinary medicine. She has special interests in emergency care, critical care, and surgery. Dr. Fahey lives at home with her husband and a lab/pointer mix named Bennett. She enjoys horseback riding and owns a quarter horse named Cheyenne. She also enjoys boating, skiing, and playing piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and singing.
