Leia Lindley
Dr. Leia Lindley has been a clinician for 15 years in private practice. As a native of New Jersey, Leia graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Pre- Medicine. It was there that she had published a paper on lymphatic dilution of terrapin turtles with her program mentor and fellow veterinarian from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, while completing her clinical year at University of Illinois.
She enjoys traveling and swimming with sea turtles and has participated in conservation programs in Costa Rica and Grenada. Leia was a previous board member of the Oswego County Humane Society for 5 years, where she was also the participating veterinarian for the spay and neuter clinics. She was nominated and became a finalist for the Most Powerful Woman in Central New York in 2015.
Her family would not be complete without a dog Charlie, a cat Punkin Pants, and two guinea pigs Carmine and Gordon. She and her son Jax love to visit the beaches in New Jersey where she grew up, and loves to spend time with her family and friends.
