Dr. Russell joined our team in June 2006. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2002 and went on to earn her Degree of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2006. She was born and raised near Utica, NY. Dr. Russell is a tremendous asset to our veterinary staff. When not at work Dr. Russell enjoys staying busy. Along with her husband and daughters, she is usually busy with their hobby farm where they raise a few beef cows. In her free time, she likes to ride horses, fish, camp, and hike with her dogs and family. She lives with her cat, Fuzzy, and labrador retrievers, Grace and Daisy. Dr. Russell decided to practice with LVAH for a few reasons: she liked the friendly staff, the pleasant environment, and the up-to-date technology we have to offer. Since starting working with us she really appreciates how well the veterinarians and all the staff work together to try and make each client and patient’s visit as positive an experience as possible.
