Dr. Sichak joined the LVAH team in June 2019. She grew up in Schenectady, NY. Her family always had multiple animals when she was growing up, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and birds. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Vassar College, where she was co-president of her Pre-Vet club. She worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic during the summers and worked for a veterinary oncologist during the school year. She then headed to Illinois and got her DVM at the University of Illinois in 2019. After veterinary school, Dr. Sichak wanted to move back to New York State. She chose LVAH because of the high-quality medicine and the friendly and inviting staff.

Dr. Sichak lives with her rescue dog, Newt, who loves all outdoor adventures and hiking. She also likes to watch soccer and read in her spare time.
