I have wanted to become a veterinarian since I was three years old and I have grown up with animals of all sizes my entire life. I have been taking my Yorkie, Tinkerbell, to the LVAH since 2009 and once I completed my pre- veterinarian education at Alfred University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in 2016, I began working at the LVAH as a kennel assistant and instantly fell in love with the practice. The entire staff and veterinary team are amazing to work with and I have always had great mentorship since I began working at the clinic. I was accepted into Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, which is located on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean’s. I then moved back up north to the state of Ohio to complete my clinical year at The Ohio State University where I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in September 2020. I was born and raised in Baldwinsville, New York and could not see myself living anywhere else. I was asked to re-join the LVAH veterinary team in October 2020 and I could not imagine working at any other clinic. I graduated as a mixed animal veterinarian, but my passion is with small animals, specifically dogs and cats, as well as exotics (pocket pets, rabbits, reptiles, and birds). I very much enjoy animal behavior and have pursued that passion since my pre-veterinary studies. I am currently a level 3 Fear Free Certified Professional and I like to incorporate animal behavior into all of my appointments as much as I can. I currently own an 11-year-old Yorkie named Tinkerbell and a 2-year-old Calico cat named Bella. I am very family oriented and I try to spend as much time with them as I possibly can. In my free time I enjoy horseback riding and competing in the hunter jumper division which I have done since I was 11 years old.
