Dr. Felver-Gant joined the LVAH team in the spring of 2017 as an Associate Veterinarian. He grew up in Jamesville, NY. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and went to work as a technician in Rhode Island for several years afterward. From there, he completed his Master's Degree in Animal Behavior and Welfare at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He then attended veterinary school at Edinburgh University in Scotland, UK before finally returning to Central New York. After a several-year stint working primarily in emergency medicine, he moved to the Syracuse area to be closer to his family and join the LVAH practice. He currently lives with his wife, their daughter Nora, and their three rescue dogs: Layla, Buster, and Ryan. He enjoys being active and plays a variety of sports including basketball and ultimate frisbee. He is also an enthusiastic hiker and will frequently spend his free time in the Adirondack area.
