Dr. Wojcik is the proud owner of Liverpool Village Animal Hospital. He started working at LVAH in 1988 as a receptionist/kennel worker! He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology at Cornell University in 1991 and went on to earn his Degree of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 1994. He came back to LVAH in 1994 to work as an associate veterinarian and became the owner/director in 1998. He really worked his way up! Dr. W, as the staff calls him, was born in Wheeling, WV. He moved to Liverpool, NY when he was seven and has lived in the area ever since. He enjoys hiking, swimming, home improvement, and model trains. His major enjoyment, however, comes from spending his free time with his family. Dr. Wojcik lives with his wife, Brenda, their son, Devin, and daughter, Sophia. They are joined by their cats Murphy and Marbles, and their dog, Tucker. The Wojcik family is committed to animals, and the people in our community and beyond. Dr. Wojcik is the former Chairman of the Board for the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. The Syracuse area is fortunate to have a nationally recognized Zoo to help educate people about the value of animals and the importance of conservation.
