Dr. McCoy grew up in Southern New Hampshire. She held a veterinary assistant job in high school but her interest in veterinary medicine was cemented when she took a high school course held at Tufts University Vet School. Dr. McCoy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at the University of Vermont and then went across the pond to earn her Veterinary Degree at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She lived in the United Kingdom for 5 years where she studied, traveled, and met veterinarians from all over the world. She then returned back to the United States and moved to Central New York to be in a midway location between her family in NH and her fiancé’s family in Toronto. Together they have 2 dogs and 3 cats which is always fun and chaotic. She loves LVAH, the clients, and the friends she has made in her coworkers. During her free time, Dr. McCoy enjoys reading, painting and seeing musicals as well as exploring the outdoors.
