Dr. McCoy grew up in Southern New Hampshire around family pets, which is how she became interested in veterinary medicine. She attended a veterinary camp for high school students at Tufts University which confirmed her desire to become a Veterinarian. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at the University of Vermont and then went across the pond to earn her Veterinary Degree at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, U.K. She recently returned back to the United States and moved to Central New York to join LVAH and be in more of a central location between her boyfriend and her families. Her boyfriend is also a Veterinarian, originally from Canada, who she met in Scotland. She currently resides with him and their cat, Rupert, with their next goal to adopt a dog. She is interested in Cardiology and Neurology and has a keen interest in Ultrasound. She is looking forward to using the brand new Ultrasound equipment we offer here at LVAH. During her free time, she enjoys taking classes in all forms of group dance (ie: ballet, tap, and hip-hop). She also enjoys outdoor photography, kayaking, and ice skating in her free time.
